A appraisal is always free of charge and without obligation for all parties involved, provided the appraisal takes place at our office.

Appraisals for various reasons:
Sale by auction
If you're considering auctioning your collection, specialists at De Nederlandsche are happy to provide free verbal advice on the auction value of your item. However, this advice does not have the status of an official appraisal report.
For direct sales
Want to sell your stamp or coin collection quickly at current market value? That's possible too, with immediate payment. We also buy gold and silver coins directly at the highest price.
For insurance
In case of theft, damage, or fire, it's advisable to have an accurate and complete appraisal report for your stamps and/or coins. Because their value fluctuates, it's wise to have stamps and/or coins appraised regularly. Insurance reports are generally valid for three years.
For succession and/or division
In the event of an inheritance or division, our appraisers can determine the value of the collection and prepare a valuation report based on this assessment. If desired, they can also provide expert advice on the assets to be divided.The Dutch Stamp and Coin Auction also prepares a report for notaries, lawyers, executors, and tax advisors who require an official valuation report for their clients, for example, for estate planning, distribution, and tax advice. This naturally also applies to the items to be auctioned.

Are you interested in the current market value of your collection without wanting to auction it off? We offer an accurate estimate of your item's value.
The costs of our services
A verbal appraisal is always free and without obligation for all parties, provided the appraisal is carried out by our experts at our office.However, this advice does not have the status of an official valuation report.
The costs for an official valuation report at the office are: minimum rate € 75,=,
2% on the first €7,500
1.5% on the amount between €7,500 and €15,000
1% on amounts above € 15,000.
For an at-home appraisal, additional travel expenses will be charged, with a minimum of €200.00.
Appraisal costs will be refunded if the goods are offered for auction to the auctioneer within one year of the appraisal; travel expenses are not reimbursed.
