GERMANY JULIG, 2 Thaler 1610, Obsidional coin issued by Baron Johann von Rauschenberg, Governor of Julich on behalf of the Habsburg Archduke Leopold, imperial administrator for the disputed lands of Julich, Cleve, Berg, Mark and Ravensberg. The coin was cut from silver dinnerware, hammered flat and countermarked with identifying stamps and value stamps. In oval crowned R(Rauschenberg) above 16L10(L=Leopold), KM.6, extremely fine, rare!!
