Lot 1007

AUSTRALIA VICTORIA 1850-1913, (un)used/never hinged fabulous lot. After 56 years this fantastic lot will be on an auction again. In 1953 the collector bought approx. 30 lots at an auction in the UK, he died some years later. His relatives kept it in the family upto now, now they wishes it to be auctioned at our auctionhouse. The collection contains a platereconstruction of the first issues, further many other issues of later period, also in blocks and part of sheets unused/never hinged. The lot contains many stamps of a famous old collection, like the Hamilton, Cohen and Marks collection, also several issues with the signature and date(first day of issue) of the printer J.H.Gibbs.
