WORLD ONE MAN'S LIFETIME OF STAMP COLLECTING, during our valuationdays in France an older couple entered the place, where we hold the valuation, with this collection in a plastic bag. They took it out of the bag and we were very suprised what we saw, an old Maury album of about 25 centimeters thick, filled with only classic stamps. Mouthwatering were we watching this fantastic collection, but the couple didn't know what they were showing us because it wasn't their own collection but they inherited the collection of the womens father who died in the fifty's. After viewing more than one hour at this collection the couple was very suprised what we told them because they didn't have any notice of what it was worth. The father who was the collector was collecting for many decades but collected only till 1920 because his album stopped in 1920. Whatever he was missing in his collection he bought used or unused, because he had the money for it he also bought the for that time expensive stamps, that's why the collection is full with better high noted stamps of many countries around the world from A till Z, from North till south and from East till West. It's too much to describe what is in the collection we advise you to have a look at this wonderfull lot to get a good impression what it is in it, the startingprice is just a fraction of what it's really worth. On request of the couple we auctioneer this as one collection and they hope that the buyer will continue to make it complete although there is not much missing.
