BELGIUM "EPAULETTEN" 1849, mostly used phenomenal study collection of the first issue of Belgium, the so called "Epauletten". Extensive collected on plates, positions, varieties, cancellations etc., in the collection about 250 varieties with for example 21 double prints and much more very scarce varieties. In total there are 311x OCB nr.1, 246x OCB nr.2 and 1004x nr.2A, for 99% with 4 margins, also many with extra stamps and sheet margins, some pairs etc., a few unused examples. The collector was a very intense collector who built this collection together in the past 3 years, he spent for about €2000.000,= on this collection, most all bought from Belgium dealers, Auction Houses and on Internet, he did not want poor quality, so the quality is far above standard. Now in our Auction offered as one collection. An unique opportunity to acquire one of the largest and best collections of this issue. Ideal to continue collecting or ideal to sell stamp by stamp.
