WORLD AMAZING HERITAGE, our French agent did get a telephone call from a lady from Nice that her husband died in 2017 and she wanted to sell his stamps now. So during one of our trips through France we visited her at her Apartment on the "Boulebard of broken dreams" at the coast of Nice with an amazing view over the Mediterranean. What we saw was not a dream, it was real and now in our sale, Her husband was buying stamps for over 20 years but just put a part in books, the most he bought he put in glassines in cigar or biscuit boxes and never worked on it again. he bought as new issues at stamp shops etc., according to his wife she could find in his administration he spent between €200.000,= and €250.000,=, what he collected was for 99% never hinged, all kind of topics, but really there is so much, we couldn't see what the man has done, only that it was an amazing and crazy lot. The lady wanted us to take it for the auction and we agreed to start at less than 10% of the price he paid. You have to see this lot and find out how much it is really worth, but reserve time because there is so much, the trunk of the car was overfilled, in books, small boxes, cans etc., in 11 boxes
