WORLD HERITAGE, during an Estimation day in Luxembourg City, a man passed by and told us that he and his sister inherited a big stamp collection from their father who died. He told us that his father has spent between €800.000,= and 1 million Euro, of course he did not carry it with him, so we made an appointment to visit him where the stamps were. We were off course very curious and after the Estimation day we went to his house. What we saw is what you see in our auction now. The lot is one of the strangest lots ever. It took us over 4 hours to look through the lot to find out what he bought. He didn't buy only new issues but also older material. Because it was getting late and we were hungry the man ordered Pizza's and we started to talk about this investment of his father. After the pizza and more wine he decided to give us the lot in our auction and sell for him as one Estate. The father started to put everything in stockbooks but did not finish this project before he died.
